What mattress is better than Saatva?
Established in 2010, Saatva specializes in direct-to-consumer luxury mattresses under three brand name names: Saatva, Loom & Leaf, and Zenhaven. As with all of the Saatva Business’s mattresses, the Saatva Classic is provided by movers, rather than in a box.

Note: Saatva just recently upgraded the Zenhaven, changing the kind of latex utilized in its foam layers. The Zenhaven now includes Dunlop latex, instead of Talalay latex; find out more about the differences below. We plan to evaluate the new version soon and will update this guide with our impressions.
The Zenhaven is also flippable (the High-end Plush side feels medium-firm, while the Gentle Firm side feels a bit firmer), which may show practical if you’re not sure what you choose or if your needs change over time. We have not yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “environment-friendly” brands. However we do know that the company uses thistle pulp or natural wool as a flame retardant (instead of fiberglass or chemicals) and just natural cotton (instead of artificial blends) in its covers. As do other online bed mattress business, Saatva touts such extras as zoned layers for “optimum spine assistance”; we’re less satisfied with those features and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive customer care and resilient foams and coils.
