What mattress is better than Saatva?
Founded in 2010, Saatva concentrates on direct-to-consumer high-end bed mattress under 3 brand: Saatva, Loom & Leaf, and Zenhaven. In between these three brand names, the business offers a number of bed mattress designs, including the all-foam Loom & Leaf;& Leaf; the latex Zenhaven; the airbed, Solaire; and the hybrid Saatva. Ideal for: Individuals with more particular firmness preferences Sleepers of any size and sleep position Those who tend to sleep hot Couples looking for a mix of pressure relief and bounce Many online mattresses are hybrids or foams, so the Saatva Classic stands out. It is among the few innerspring mattresses you can conveniently purchase online. Pocketed coils give the Saatva Classic an excellent quantity of bounce near the top, and a luxurious top adds softness. Also, as with all of the Saatva Company’s bed mattress, the Saatva Classic is provided by movers, rather than in a box. Saatva also offers a generous 180-day trial duration and easy returns.

The Saatva’s convenience system utilizes thinner layers of foam than lots of hybrid models. These thinner layers of foam integrated with the Euro-top’s fiber fill absorb some motion, lowering how much movement is felt throughout the surface area of the bed. Sleepers may still experience some motion transfer when their partner changes position or gets up during the night due to the mattress’s two layers of springs. Thanks to its softer feel, the Plush Soft version of the Saatva takes in a little more movement than the High-end Firm and Company choices.
While all of the Saatva firmness options have pressure-relieving capacity, the quantity of pressure relief that a private experiences on the mattress will differ based partly on their weight and sleep position. Individuals who weigh under 130 pounds will likely experience the most pressure relief on the Luxurious Soft variation of the bed mattress, while sleepers over 230 pounds will likely get the best balance of contouring and assistance from the Firm variation.
Note: Saatva just recently updated the Zenhaven, altering the type of latex utilized in its foam layers. The Zenhaven now includes Dunlop latex, instead of Talalay latex; learn more about the distinctions below. We plan to check the brand-new version soon and will update this guide with our impressions.

The all-foam Zenhaven consists mostly of latex, which is inherently durable. The Zenhaven is also flippable (the Luxury Plush side feels medium-firm, while the Gentle Company side feels a bit firmer), which may show practical if you’re not sure what you prefer or if your requirements alter with time. This is not a conventionally cushy mattress, however it uses a supple cushion, good edge assistance, and a subtle springiness. Offered its inherent sturdiness, the Zenhaven must work well for individuals who weigh more than 200 pounds.

We have not yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “eco-friendly” brands. However we do know that the company uses thistle pulp or natural wool as a flame retardant (instead of chemicals or fiberglass) and only natural cotton (instead of artificial blends) in its covers. As do other online bed mattress companies, Saatva promotes such bonus as zoned layers for “optimal spinal column support”; we’re less satisfied with those features and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive customer care and long lasting foams and coils.
