I am a seventh grade Language Arts teacher and
writer from
Nebraska
. I live, teach, and write in
Kearney
with my wife and our two sons. I graduated from the
University
of
Nebraska
at
Kearney
with a BAE in English Language Arts, a BA in
Philosophy, and I will graduate next May with a MA in English-Creative
Writing. This winter, I will be beginning coursework in the
University
of
Nebraska
MFA
program. I write voraciously in the genres of fiction, nonfiction, poetry,
screenplays, and academic research. My fiction and poetry has appeared in
several journals such as The Carillon
and The Reynolds Review, as well as
university research journals. My fiction, nonfiction, and poetry have been
presented on the campuses of the
University
of
Nebraska
and the
Museum
of
Nebraska Art
in various readings and conferences.
