Humphries
I am a high school English teacher at East Bladen High School
in the beautiful rural town of Elizabethtown, N.C. I currently teach grades
nine and eleven, and I have a great deal of love for my students. Whereas I
know that I cannot "save" every student, I do have an innate belief
that all children are capable of learning if you can tap into something that
makes them want to learn. I obtained my BS in Psychology with a concentration
in Business Administration from Campbell University, and my BA in English
Education from Fayetteville State University. I live in Elizabethtown with my
son, Cameron, and my miniature pinscher, Holly Golytely. I enjoy reading,
writing, old movies, teaching, coaching the cheerleaders, and living life to
its fullest.
